Dr. Brandon Weidenhaft graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Having grown up in Western Kansas, Dr. Weidenhaft was excited to return to the area and has been practicing in Hays for the last 12 years. On September 1, 2012, he opened his own mixed animal practice, Big Creek Veterinary Services.
Dr Weidenhaft has been married to his wife, Julie for 15 years. They have one child, Taylor, who keeps them very busy with her many activities. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys coaching Taylor's various sports' teams and also watching her show her horse, Clay. He also enjoys breeding/raising Quarter & Paint Horses, as well as Weimaraner Puppies. As a family, they enjoy attending the Fort Hays State University sporting events together.
In addition to all of their horses and farm cats, the Weidenhaft's have 2 dogs, Spring & Molly. Spring can most often times be found riding shotgun on farm calls or hanging out at the clinic.
